Job description:
Your career at Photoneo will start with a training on how to operate our software first. Afterwards, your primary responsibility will be to validate reliability of new SW releases, and thus to contribute to keeping our commitment to provide best in class machine vision software to our customers. Your initiatives and improvements proposals are welcome along the way.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining testing and regress test scenarios for software projects
- Conducting and evaluating testing scenarios before public releases
- Writing and executing automated test scripts
- Running manual and automated tests in different environments
- Using internal issue/bug tracking tool for writing bug reports
- Reviewing user documentation
- Meeting deadlines
Requirements:
- Python – basic
- UNIX/Linux – basic
- Experience with software testing and testing automation is an advantage
- Written and spoken English (B2 level or higher)
- University education (Bachelor degree is a minimum)
- Drive to learn new stuff
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to meet deadlines, willingness to investigate, troubleshoot and drive solutions of detected issues
