Technical Sales Representative/ Sales Engineer (Germany based)
Location: Germany + travelling
Job Description:
Technical Sales Representative supports activities of sales team in the field when more technical insight is required. He/ she is able to provide live demonstrations of our 3D Scanner, Camera, Localization SDK or Bin Picking configuration interface, hold a technical peer-to-peer discussion with a customer and chair technical training sessions.
A suitable candidate needs to have capabilities to master our solutions and technologies at an advanced user level. 80% of the working time will be spent with conducting feasibility studies at customer locations in Germany (entire D-A-CH potentially).
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and understanding a business case in close cooperation with the sales team
- Working with the sales team and customers on the requirement clarification
- Meeting with system users to understand the scope of projects
- Clear definition and documentation of the scope of the requirement
- Reviewing potential implementation similarities
- Determining the most suitable approach of implementation
- Technical feasibility analyses
- Using internal project management tool for writing feasibility reports
- Producing documentation – technical and marketing concluding summaries
- Providing an objective feedback to software development project teams
- Presenting findings to software development and business user teams
- Working on multiple projects at one time
- Chairing technical demonstrations and trainings
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience on a similar technical position (experience with 2D vision systems is a must, experience with 3D vision systems an advantage)
- Minimum language qualifications: German – native speaker; fluent written and spoken English at B2 or higher level
- Minimum education qualifications: Bachelor degree
- Ability to learn new things
- Having a good overview of vision systems technologies
- Good communication skills
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Goal orientation, willingness to investigate, troubleshoot and drive solutions of detected issues in the software system
